This has been an exciting and very busy day. The excitement is really about the news that Blizzard has let us know of a release date for Burning Crusade!

The release date for the North America and Europe version is January 16, 2007! If you play on any other servers you are going to have to wait. They still haven't gave a release date for the other versions but they did say it wouldn't be much longer after the North America and Europe versions.

Yeah, it has been pushed back a bit from Winter 2006 but not by very much. For Blizzard to actually set a specific date means that they will more than likely easily reach it, although it may be possible it could be pushed back but I highly doubt it.

January is going to be a huge month for me.

My wife's birthday is on the 14th as well as my Dad's.
Burning Crusade is going to be released on the 16th.

I hope my wife is ok with waiting a few days to get her birthday present! :)

I'm sure she won't mind as she loves to play WoW with me....yes....I'm extremely lucky! :)

Anyone going to have a release day party? I am for sure going to line up at a local retailer...probably Best Buy in order to get my 2 copies and I am going to have to not work that day or the week after!
